Jo Salmon, a qualified Chartered Surveyor, has combined her 27 years of extensive experience in retail, leisure and commercial asset management, with intuitive people management to carve a unique career. Following a stint in retail management, Jo briefly worked at CBRE and then London & Cambridge Properties with primary focus on improving value of challenged assets and shopping centres and oversight of the £500m retail portfolio managed by LCP’s Midlands office.
Jo headed up the 40 strong team within the estates and events business in Digbeth, where her expertise in investment strategy and experience in complex assets resulted in a ground up, experience focused approach.
Tasked with revitalising Digbeth’s commercial and consumer offer, Jo has attracted a plethora of businesses to the area from social gaming concepts to creative tech businesses and beyond, putting Digbeth firmly on the map as a destination for business and pleasure. Her enhanced skills in identifying opportunities, placemaking and regeneration alongside her experience in effective asset management and investment strategy are the foundations of Make Asset Management.
